How Teams Qualified for the Singapore Major

There were no regional qualifiers. Valve distributed invites by region according to each region’s results at the previous Major, then filled them in VRS order.

Europe gained one slot at the expense of the Americas, raising its total from 17 to 18, because only three Americas teams (FURIA, 9z and Legacy) reached Stage 3 in Cologne. Asia kept its five slots but lost its direct Stage 3 invite after The MongolZ were knocked out by 9z and missed the playoffs. The Americas now have two direct Stage 3 invites instead of one, because FURIA and 9z reached the Cologne playoffs, but their Stage 2 slots dropped from three to one.

The invite cut-off on November 2 followed a final round of LAN events, including FiRe Last Chance in Buenos Aires, GLuck Moscow Cyber Games and HyperX Retake Season 13 in Lisbon. Several Major spots were decided in those last tournaments.
